Nitro District
★★★★★ 4.6
Nitro District is the racing game I keep recommending to friends who hate fiddly controls. You steer with tilt or a touch wheel, brake and boost sit under your thumb, and drifting is where the whole thing clicks. Hit a corner right and the car slides into a chain of boost that feels genuinely fast.
The tracks wind through neon city blocks, and while the theme isn't original, the track design is smart, with shortcuts that reward learning a route. Progression unlocks new cars and handling upgrades, and each car actually feels different rather than being a reskin.
It runs smooth and looks sharp. My only gripe is the later races lean hard on rubber-band difficulty, but if you like arcade racers over hardcore sims, this one earns its spot.
